Event Me was founded in 2016, by Billy and Chetan. These long-time friends, with 25 years of combined hospitality experience wanted to use their expertise and connections to create awesome new opportunities and experiences.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: Do everything we can to create safe, enjoyable, and sustainable events, as well as memories that will last a lifetime. We’re going to achieve this by working together with our ever growing list of trustworthy partner businesses, who we truly believe are the best in the business.

A brief History of What We've Achieved

  • Event Me began business focused on small outdoor events. With a handful of events numbering just over 1,000 people.

  • By the end of the first year, Event Me began managing larger outdoor events. Growing large enough to accomodate as many as 1,500 people.

  • Within 18 months, Event Me had grown alongside their partners, as the outdoor festival market boomed in New Zealand. Quickly, they were managing multiple events with as many as 2500 people.

  • In mid-2018, Alongside their many smaller projects, Event Me was planning their first 5,000+ capacity event. Which went without a hitch in the summer holiday season in beautiful Matakana.

  • Currently, Event Me are hard at work planning a number of festivals and events scheduled for the next 18 months. With an expected total patronage over 50,000 persons, with single events numbering as many as 7,000 smiling faces.
